The St. Luke's Choirs

Stained Glass The St. Luke's choirs are composed of a Senior choir (The Choir of St. Luke's) and a Junior Choir (The Youth Choir of St. Luke's).These two choirs sing at the third and middle services (respectively) each Sunday. On special occasions such as Evensong, Ash Wednesday, etc. they may sing together.

Mrs. Bobbie Grabau is the Director of the Choir of St. Luke's. The organist for St. Luke's is Mrs. Elaine Stephenson. The adult choir is open to singers from the ages of 13 years on up. The ability to sight read music is helpful, but not mandatory. We are developing several auditory aids to help singers who would like to expand their skills (MP3 files and CDs taylored to each part). Church membership is not required.

The Youth Choir is directed by Mr. Bill Gausewitz. The Youth Choir is open to children from the ages of 6 to 16 years. Children will learn a variety of musical skills including sight reading. Church membership is not required. As members of the Royal School for Church Music we follow their motto "I will sing praise with the spirit, but I will sing praise with the mind also" 1Cor. 14:15
