firmly rooted in the historical context of Christianity.
This is best expressed in the Nicene Creed (from the Council of Nicaea, A.D. 325).
We believe in one God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is his Son who was made man
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe God sent his Son to us for our salvation.
We believe that God continues to act on earth today through the Holy Spirit.
