Welcome to St. Luke’s Church!
What to expect when you come to St. Luke’s for the first time:
At St. Luke’s you will see some people dressed casually and others dressed more formally. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
As you enter the Narthex (the entrance area of the church) you will be greeted by an usher who will hand you a bulletin that will include the details of the service for that day. During the service, simply follow along, using a hymnal when it is time to sing.
Enter the chapel and take a seat in one of the pews until the service begins. You will find an information card located in a slot on the back of the pew in front of you. Please fill one out and place it in the offering plate as it comes around later in the service so that we can get to know you.
During the Holy Eucharist, any baptized Christian is welcome to come to the altar and partake of the Sacrament. If you would rather not, simply remain in your seat until the Eucharist is complete.
After the service, please walk around to the Parish Hall and join us for coffee and snacks. We look forward to meeting you!
St. Luke's Hiking Club: During seasonable weather local hikes are announced every month in the Nugget and Bulletin. Hikes are usually easy to moderate in length and difficulty and hikers are encouraged to bring water, a snack or lunch and to wear appropriate footwear.
